

Hunt Dress. The Mid Surrey Farmers Draghounds have a long established hunt dress of dark blue with blue velvet collars for Masters and Hunt Staff, subscribers who have been awarded their hunt buttons are invited to wear green jackets. For more information please click here.

What is drag hunting?
Drag hunting evolved to simulated the excitement of fox
hunting with the emphasis on jumping and enjoying the

MSFD history
It was in 1900, more than a century ago, that the Mid-Surrey
Farmers Drag Hunt was founded. It was then known as the
Banstead Drag. Over the years and, in particular between the
wars, it operated with much success and with much bigger

The drag hound
Draghounds. Most Drag Hunting packs make use of The English Foxhound, this breed has a long documented history indeed there is proof that Foxhounds were the very first canines in Great Britain to be scientifically bred. For more information please click here.
