Hickstead is synonymous with show jumping. As host to the British Grand Prix and the only Samsung Super League with FEI Competition in the British Isles, it is the home of British show jumping. Founded in 1961 by Douglas Bunn, Hickstead has come to represent more than just show jumping however, and as it approaches its 50th birthday is equally as renowned for polo, showing, dressage, driving and even eventing!
